Baume was born from love, experience and a little frustration.

When I became a mum, I was excited to search for kids clothes, I wanted fun, modern, unisex clothing that combined comfort with quality, but what I found was generally disappointing; predictable fast fashion or overpriced brands with a lack of substance or style. Design was a sea of clichés, frills on one side, and trucks and diggers on the other.

I’ve been designing for global high-end and high street fashion brands my entire career, so more than a little frustration set in giving spark to a passion and a mission.

I set out to build a destination for gender-free childrenswear: playful prints, and roomy oversized silhouettes designed to grow with your child, and made in soft, natural, sustainable fabrics.

Baume became a labor of love. Every piece has been meticulously designed, carefully fitted, tested, and refined to ensure it feels just right. The fabrics are soft yet durable, and thoughtfully chosen for comfort, longevity, and ease of wear. I’ve poured all my experience into this collection, but more importantly, I’ve poured in everything I desired as a parent.

I believe the things we wrap our children in should feel like care — not just in how they’re made, but in how they make our kids feel.

Im dedicated to crafting fashion with integrity. The antithesis of fast fashion, this is slow fashion with soul, responsibly sourced, in small runs to avoid waste. Kids clothing that’s cute, comfortable, with uncompromising quality and effortlessly cool. Clothes to be worn, loved, passed on, and cherished.

The name Baume means “balm” in French — a soothing touch — and that’s exactly how these clothes feel.
